During my time at this publication, which highlights the vibrant and creative figures shaping Silicon Valley, I had the honor of working with Daniel Garcia, the founder and curator of Content Magazine. Daniel's exceptional mentorship in designing article layouts and participating in photoshoots provided me with invaluable insights into visual storytelling and community engagement. Additionally, organizing events and fostering connections within a community of like-minded creatives brought me great joy, allowing me to witness the unifying and inspiring power of storytelling on our readers and contributors.
CONCEPT DESIGN
VÉRITÉ MAGAZINE
For a college design brief assignment, I created a mock magazine concept named Vérité, which means truth in French. Vérité was designed to embody authenticity and creativity, featuring captivating content and visuals. I designed concept spreads for a detailed skincare routine, enhanced with hand-drawn illustrations, and a feature on the innovative conceptual designer Claire Xue. Additionally, I included an advertisement page and other engaging elements, showcasing my skills in layout design and visual storytelling. This project allowed me to explore and express my creative vision while honing my design expertise.
